Welsh tenor Dafydd Jones was a member of the Bayerische Staatsoper Opernstudio for the 24/25 - 25/26 Seasons where his highlights included Remendado Carmen, Dichter Das Jagdgewehr, Un Payson La Fille du régiment, Guiseppe La Traviata and Covered Tamino Die Zauberflöte.
Upcoming engagements include his house debut at Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino where he will sing Der Narr in Deborah Warner’s production of Wozzeck. Dafydd will make his house and role debut as First Jew in Claus Gut’s new production of Salome for Opera Naradowa (Polish National Opera) followed by his debut as Little Bat McLean in a new production of Floyd’s Susannah at Konzert und Theater St.Gallen.
